About Factory

OKIDO Weaving Factory can create a variety of fabrics!

OKIDO Weaving Factory was established in Japan in 1950 and has deep roots in the traditional Japanese fabric known as Banshu-ori.

We can create a wide variety of fabrics! Although we are a family-owned textile company, we have various loom machines, yarn twisting machines, a weaving design system, and even a finishing machine. This allows us to handle all fabric production processes consistently within our factory.

We are dedicated to craftsmanship and creativity, striving to create fabrics that inspire those who hold them in their hands.

We produce unique, high-quality fabrics for designers and private customers around the world.

The Design

We have a textile design system that allows us to create original designs and convert customer-provided designs into weaving data. Since we operate the looms ourselves, we can optimize the weaving data to achieve the best results.

The Weaving

We have six types of Jacquard looms and two types of Dobby looms, allowing us to produce a wide variety of fabrics. Typically, cotton is used for the warp.

The Twisting and The Finishing

We have both a twisting machine and a finishing machine. With the twisting machine, we can create original threads to produce unique fabrics. The finishing machine allows us to develop distinctive textures.
